Yay! \o/

I have an etsy account! I'm maskedzone. :)

Also, just for a point of reference, I've got one shot of each mask in a flickr account. I finally got some natural light and took some better pictures. This way, people can look through my previous creations if they want to know what I can put together for them. :D

DUDE! I have a mannequin and a really cool vintage wig with blond hair with dark brown roots. It's almost like a real shop! *grin*

Hmmm... any ideas on where I can let people know that I'm making killjoy masks? The only thing that I can find is [livejournal.com profile] bury_mein_merch, which is MCR merch (handmade or official). Anyone know of cosplaying groups or killjoy communities where people might be interested?

Oh, wow, the mannequin/wig/mask combo looks BRILLIANT!

I'm really digging your etsy banner, too.

Hmm. As for the pimping stuff.. I can't think of any lj communities, maybe deviant art?

Randomly, there's a craft swap going on over on craftster that made me think of you - It's a Killjoy swap, lol. I was like, Ooh! I know what that is now! ;) See, meeting you has been very educational.

Eeeeeeee! Thanks, honey! I really like that damn wig. I think it even looks better in person, but I'm happy how it looks in the pics, too. The mannequin head can look a bit... drag-ish, but I still love it. :D

Thanks, dear! The banner just wasn't working for me for a while and I made 4 versions. I think I like this one, but I hesitate to say I LOVE it. I'm worried that it is too orange and black and halloween-y.

Hmmm... I don't have a deviant art account. Maybe I should get one? :)

Huh. I've never even heard of craftster... it looks really cool.

I have a hard time capturing images that make things look as awesome as they do in real life. I didn't think it looked drag-ish, very dramatic, which I think works with the masks.

I think the banner is brilliant. Of course black & orange is one of my all time favourite colour combinations so I might be a little biased on that point, but I don't think it looks overly halloweeny.

A lot of people have deviantart accounts for the sole purpose of selling/getting commissions/networking. It can't hurt. There might even be some Killjoy clubs where you can pimp them out and drum up some business.

Oh, I'm addicted to craftster. It's sad really. ;)

I know, right?! I even have a pretty nice camera, but it is hard to get the colors and depth to show right. :(

Why thank you! I also really like black and orange (and black and red, for that matter), but I was worried it read as super halloween-y. I'm glad you like it!

Okie dokie. I'm looking into getting a deviantart today. I'd love to network with other killjoy people and mask makers.

Congrats on your store! It looks great! I love how your masks are coming along. I especially like the sunshine mask. And your name! I'm glad you went with that one.

I am home, btw, and whiny about the cold and the rain. I've adopted a kitten for my cat -- You and S should come over sometime and meet her. She's still at the shelter waiting to be spayed, but she's coming home tomorrow.

Thanks, dear! I'm just hoping that someone will like them. :) (BTW, the sunshine is my favorite, too!)

Yay for getting home safely! Also, we are super excited to meet this new kitty. Are you free this weekend? Maybe Saturday?
